Not that I am hugely opposed to this kind of energy, but even by the shore on Lake Michigan there are migratory bird species that are specially protected. I don’t think the concern for the impact on the environment is bad, but it also doesn’t seem like there was any substantial research done into the ecological impact of this, and seemingly that “it is the residents’ burden to show that the board erred, but the residents have failed to do so.”

Seems a bit silly, but hope that it will pave the way to look both into the issues and possible solutions to make this a reality one day on the Lakes.
