I designed my custom fender instead which my partner stopped me buying as she was like “indisin, you don’t even play your current guitar why are you buying another?” haha.
My current is just a semi acoustic Fender California Newporter Special in black.

I agree that Fenders feel faster but I genuinely suck at guitar so I’m the wrong person to comment. Used to have several drummer mates in the UK and couple of them pointed out I keep time with my left hand… Makes piano/keyboard super easy though.
The neck on gibsons feels more weighted and that’s probs the reason. You notice how all pop punk is fenders? It’s not just you.
Ibanez does a great job.

Do you find that the fender bridge is a bit “faster” than the Gibson one?
I don’t know if it’s the size of the gap between the strings that are different but I always seem to have better accuracy at higher tempo on fenders.
