“We swore to serve the American people and uphold our oath to the constitution across presidential administrations,” the 21 staffers wrote in a joint resignation letter, a copy of which was obtained by the Associated Press. “However, it has become clear that we can no longer honor those commitments.”

    Resigning isn’t courageous.

It takes a long time to fire a long term fed, but if you resign a bootlicker takes your desk tomorrow and does what you wouldn’t.

engineers, data scientists and product managers

Those are not positions that take drop-in replacements, no matter how smart they are.

If you’re trying to run it competently, sure.

Do you think that’s what they want?

You think that’s what Elmo and Trump have as a goal for the federal government?

Didn’t say anything about doing it well, just that the replacements face a hella learning curve and will fail.

On the other hand, if/when a saner administration comes in, these are the people you would hire for senior positions due to integrity.

[The former government employees said that they had been visited in the office by individuals wearing White House visitor’s passes, who interrogated employees about their political loyalty, work experience as well as their colleagues in the federal workforce.]

    Political Loyalty WTF???

Quitting the nazi party gets a thumbs up from me. It’s hard to see organizations like universities complying with federal mandates as if this is business as usual.

Probably whatever they were doing at the United States Digital Service before Trump took over and turned it into DOGE.
