    This isn’t technically a ban, since that would likely run into legal problems. Instead, it is a $20k/house tax for every house over 100 houses that an entity owns. It’s uncertain how much this will help housing prices, but it looks to be worth a try.

    I would really like a progressive tax on each additional house a person/corporation owns. First house is unchanged. Every additional would then add an increasing tax penalty.
    This idea would completely disincentivize the “landlord” class renting out properties.

      What is the alternative to rentals for people who do not want to own a house, then? While I just recently bought a house, I found it very beneficial to not have to go all in financially on a house until I was really ready. Owning a house means that moving becomes much more difficult and expensive.
