    First off, this is great. Concessions like this show that there is some public will to get change. That said, I haven’t read the MOU, but there is no way this can be classed as ‘wining the right…’ like the article title says. We still need an actual requirement (by law) across the board to be allowed to repair our own stuff without exception.

    ‘Safety’ and ‘intellectual property’ are slight of hand intended to weaken the commitment Deere is making. Are window replacements safety? Well, they impact cab strength in a roll-over…

      Yeah the title is more bold than the actual MOU. This wasn’t “winning right to repair”, but rather John Deere attempting to give a little so the farmers back down. Fully agree that a law needs to be in place to protect the right to repair.
