I received this email today announcing TRN Premium pricing to begin in November at $7 a month or $60 annually. Looks like this is for covering the licensing for the Gallagher Premiership. I’m unclear if we will still have the free tier for MLR-only, but I hope so. I assume MLR matches covered on Fox Sports Live will still be delayed in US even with subscription.
Not directly listed in the email, but found on https://www.therugbynetwork.com/ mentions Samsung TV and Apple TV apps coming soon. I’m finding the inclusion of Samsung TV before Google TV to be quite irksome.
Paid it this morning. They added Chromecast support so much more worth it. Was also paying for Peacock so this is just changing providers, and I’d rather support TRN since they’ve done a nice job supporting the MLR.
If I’m understanding the app right, the previous MLR games are still free. Can’t speak for the new games in 2024.
