Dude needs to get a major suspension for touching a fan. Absolutely not okay. The NFL doesn’t need anymore of a reputation for protecting shit human beings.

Yeah he shouldn’t have shoved the fan, but this is on security for letting it get this far. It’s pretty clear the Bills asked multiple times for the fan to be removed or simply dealt with, and security declined.

Im not saying teams should be able to get hecklers tossed at will, but at the same time, if team staff is asking, the home stadium needs to respect any reasonable request.

I think Phillips was being a dirty bitch all game and getting called out for it.

    Source 2: https://youtu.be/mI2iu8yoqII?si=YsI1vWqao9fhFuLk

Then, when getting called out for it, the players escalated and not only directly confronted the fans, but also security.

“Before the game started yesterday, there was a fan behind our bench, who was making life threatening remarks towards us and our families. We asked Philadelphia security to remove the fan, but he was allowed to stay for the entire game."

If he was a fan, and not a player, I’d describe this as your average day at Lincoln Field as an away fan.

The red zone game thread was full of fans of other teams trying to shit on the Eagles fans for shitting on the team a quarter earlier and the overwhelming response by Eagles fans was a more expletive version of “they deserved it”, “good it makes them play better”, “bullying works”, and even “they’re still playing like shit despite the lead”. Philly is a different breed and people gotta be ready for it if they’re gonna play there whether for the Eagles or against the Eagles. This dude is charming soft.

Someone should send him the video of Bill Burr shitting on Philly to a sea of boos from thousands of Philly residents.

He won them over without a positive thing to say about them lol.

I bring this up whenever it’s relevant, which is a lot. Everyone in Philly who watched the first “home” game during COVID when the stands were empty all agrees that the fake boos should have been louder when we started playing like shit. In the first quarter. We played like dogshit in our first home game since lockdown started and I fucking booed the Birds, and I’d do it again. I have. And I wanted the boos louder because they goddamned deserved it.

The Eagles are a cult and if they players want to enjoy the benefits of that, they can’t play like ass.

This is the bit that always applies when fans harass players. If you wouldn’t say it to them in the parking lot, think twice about yelling it at them from the stands. These dudes don’t have all the screws tight and lined up perfectly. They’ll come up there

Yeah. Like hitting people in the stands.

Athletes know that they are the men in the arena, there really is nothing aside from imminent physical threat that should make you care about a thing outside of the field of play. Focus on the game, then go back to focusing on your life.

Theres a bunch of videos of fans filming this entire encounter and the events leading up to it. TBH you cant hear shit but i would doubt other Eagles fans would be willing to upload these videos if they corroborated what Lawson is claiming…

I’ve gone to a lot of Eagles games in my life and security has kicked people out for less. If this dude was making threats they would have kicked him out. They’re right there to hear and see it all.

Eagles fans are nuts and will get under your skin. Pretty sure a different team this year was arguing with fans behind the bench without any physicality.

97.5 was talking about the video posted by a fan that was sitting two seats away which you could clearly hear what was being said during the alleged exchanges. No threatening remarks as many suspected.

Yep… because all of those fans in that section are conspiring together to only post clips debunking the player’s accusation and they all agreed to destroy any video evidence of the alleged threats.

C’mon. Use some common sense. Someone would have posted video of the threats being made just for the social media attention alone that clip would receive.

The alleged incident took place pregame and carried over into the beginning of the game. Why would anything that happened after the shove have any relevance… so it’s more like 30-45 minutes, not 3 hours. LMAO

You honestly don’t think that if fans were truly making threats against a player’s family, that at least one video would have surfaced by now corroborating the player’s claim. Instead all we have are videos disputing the player’s accusation. I wonder why that is.

I was down at Dealey Plaza today and shot some video footage. Here’s a 3 minute clip, and as you can see JFK is not being shot in this video footage.

        Conclusion: JFK is still alive.

There’s just no other possible conclusion. The video evidence is clear.
