Seems the page linked here may have been last updated in only 2014 but the original author did respond to me so I’ll include his comments in this post for context:

I’m the ex-webmaster, and I’ll leave the current webmaster, Liam, to reply on behalf of APF. (I’m still on the Tech Committee with him).

I created that page back in about 2000, as one of a set of 4 resources. I moved it onto the APF site (where I’ve been active for many years), but received no support, little interest, and fewer hits than I do on my own web-site.

So I moved three of them (Aust national, Aust subsidiary jurisdictions, and international instruments) back to my site c. 2015, e.g. here: http://www.rogerclarke.com/DV/PLawsClth.html

Even those three need some updating - it’s been very busy lately (for me personally too, but I actually meant for developments in privacy law).

I don’t think any of the four have been touched on the APF site since my last updates, maybe about 2014? (WordPress fails to carry decent meta-data, so I can’t tell).

    There’s a link on WorldLII, here: http://www.worldlii.org/catalog/2972.html

But Privacy International are as bad as so many other sites and fail to provide permanent URLs, and http://www.ictparliament.org/node/2089 has disappeared as well.

If you send a URL for the ZA law, or for a site that indexes ZA privacy laws, we’ll see if we can get it updated.

Good list but they excluded South Africa which also has a Constitution for that, a POPI Act, etc. I sent feedback to the page owners though. So it is not necessarily a comprehensive list.

Nice read, but information related to Indian laws was absent. I tried to contact the webmaster, but my mail with all the laws and references was not delivered (“High probability of spam” apparently).🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️
