Noooooo!!!
Great show! Thinking of Ospreay, PAC, and Ricochet wrestling in the future is 🤯
I really enjoyed it. I’d say it was as good as the first one of the new series. Not on the level as sequels two and three but I look forward to seeing where this story goes. Solid 8 from me.
Well, I can honestly say I am more looking forward to this than Rings of Power season 2.
I’ve greatly enjoyed pulling the series. I’ll likely call it when Johson leaves but I understand and respect his rational.
Why choose? How about a lightsaber with an adamantium hilt?
Noooooo!!! If true, I’ll be bummed to not see them at AEW, but I’ll happily follow them if they go elsewhere.
Start a yoga practice and keep it up. In 20 years, you’ll thank yourself.
Wild Blood and Guts match! Darby has activated full pryomaniac mode.
I also like how Toni Storm appears to be in the verge of going even crazier but edgier and maybe less silly.
Banger show!
MJF vs Ospreay match was not only a cornerstone match for AEW, but for the entire wrestling industry. That match will be studied by aspiring wrestlers for years for its precision in executing all of the performative and technical aspects associated with the profession. Truly an all time classic from two generational talents operating at elite levels. Are we not entertained?
Anyone else get chills when Darby Allin’s intro started and he dropped from the rafters? He’s the spiritual successor to Sting for sure.
Also, Okada is apparently the new Chuck Norris. 😂
When a long term Star Wars fan (me) and a short term Star Wars fan (wife) both find the show mediocre then it doesn’t reflect well. Wake me up when Andor season 2 is out.
I think this is a fair prediction. I could see Danielson then retiring the belt and a tournament for world title following which would have multiple storylines feeding into it.
No kidding my friend and I are still recovering. Great show and crowd.
This match was so great to see live last night.

Fair points. I had similar thoughts. In my opinion the first film of the previous trilogy also had some underdeveloped characters and storylines but served as the seed for the excellence to follow in the next two films. I’m hoping this trilogy follows a similar trajectory.
This post and comment thread has been one of the most amusing I have read on Lemmy. Kudos!
Seconded. Let any interested mods of this community join as mods of the other one.
I understand the skepticism and also didn’t enjoy the first season. A good trailer does not guarantee a good season.
Pretty great show with some interesting promos. Dead crowd in Kentucky though.
