That and cracked.com was bought by E.W. Scripps, who gutted it and resold it.
They weren’t doing poorly on YouTube, even won a couple awards for original comedy. Scripps laid off like 20-30 full time staff, others like Soren Bowie and Michael Swaim left w/o being laid off, costs were cut and they were able to sell cracked to some other company.
