Yeah, this isn’t really surprising. It doesn’t make sense to keep testers around when there’s no new hardware to test. That’s why they were contract positions in the first place.
Sounds like NoA is getting ahead of unionization efforts to outsource QA. It’s a lose lose situation!
Less contractors, more FTEs. Always a win
Except that’s not what’s happening. They aren’t increasing their FTE headcount, just screwing over their contractors to save a quick buck. Nothing to celebrate here except corporate greed.
