This is a bit outdated since there have been 2 new amiibo figurines announced in the meantime (TotK themed) but the issue as a whole still stands. A lot of sellers offer these bloated sets for up to $50 whereas you can get a “basic” set for around $15 already. You could even buy the basic set twice and get more cards for less cash.

Don’t fall for this scam. They’re trying to appeal to the end user’s “fear of missing out” because it looks as if these are the only “complete” sets while smaller sets only have a part of all availiable Zelda-amiibo. In reality, the small sets are complete and the big sets are bullsh*t.

    Or you could create your own using writeable nfc tags for about $10. I am not promoting piracy (who am I kidding, yes I am) but wanted to put this out there
