Looks like the Death Star lasers barrel!
The resemblance is uncanny!
I was going to say, someone needs to Photoshop the Emperor falling into it!
Damn, this is a great shot. What station is this if you don’t mind me asking?
This is the Savyolovskaya station in Moscow. I should clarify that I did not take this picture - and I am not sure who has because reverse search just yields people re-posting it. It’s been one of my fave liminal space pics for a while though.
Ah, thanks for the info and for sharing it anyways!
You’re welcome!
That is the Savyolovskaya Metro station in Moscow, Russia.
It’s a beautiful and minimal station
It really is quite beautiful. Wish we had more of these in the States but it’s looking like we’ll never give up our cars.
US government: best i can do is remove benches, so homeless people can’t sleep in it. take it or leave it 😉
That’s more just shitty and ineffective local town governments tbh.
local town governments
Have you been to literally any american city? This isn’t something that’s just done by a few bad apples it’s pervasive.
Just look at the horrific state of NYC stations. Even the “best” ones are in a pretty dire state.
Bro, I live in America okay? There’s no federal law mandating benches be awful. These are all local laws or city ordinances voted for by citizens who are unsympathetic to the homeless.

I don’t understand why you’re defending this shit. Also, that’s still the US gov’s fault.
yeah, i had no idea which part of the government decides it. just read about it about a month ago
Going the same way in the UK. London is the only city with a useful underground rail network and those stations are full of ads and are mostly badly designed
That got me tripping ngl o_o. I could stare at this photo for eternity but I don’t have patience for that :)
It’s hard to convince my brain this is not 2 photos stitched together.
Incredible. Thank you for this, this picture made me join this community.
Beautiful!
I definitely did this one on pressure washer simulator (game).
Knowing this game exists brightened my day immeasurably.
