A Eurasian Wren being true to his German name “Fence King” (Zaunkönig) and sitting on a wooden fence post while singing his signature and very loud song.

one of my favorite bird species names - Troglodytes troglodytes!
In Dutch we call them Winterkoning (King of winter). Also nice, especially considering its modest size. :-)
