This is the second pre-release for Thunder v0.2.1+13! The main focus for the upcoming nightlies will be fixing any outstanding issues and bugs that were introduced previously. There will most likely be no more new features added in the nightlies until the next general release.

  • Fixed broken show link preview option in settings - contribution from @ajsosa
  • Added initial support for custom themes/accents

  • Material You theme setting is hidden on non-android devices
  • Comment child count now counts total replies rather than total top level replies contribution from @micahmo
  • Added account settings to manage blocked communities and users - contribution from @micahmo
  • Added very basic initial support for localization
  • Added ability to subscribe to communities without being logged in - contribution from @vbh

The community sidebar needs its own element for screen readers. Right now its part of the element that gives the name, logo, subscribers, etc.

Hmm, I can take a look at it but I’m not sure how easily fixable it’ll be for the upcoming release

Colour themes aren’t working properly for me, and the “All Posts” feed isn’t loading poperly (only 9 posts load)…

Could you elaborate a bit more?

All Posts" feed isn’t loading poperly

What instance are you on? I have not been able to reproduce this issue unfortunately

Regarding the theme, @BinarySystem@lemmy.world already answered that themes don’t work with Material You!

As for the feed, I’m on Lemmy.world… It fixed itself after a while, and hasn’t happened again as of yet. My internet connection was good, and other feeds (Subscriptions, Local) worked fine.

Is the APK corrupt? When I tried to installed it, I got “problem parsing package”, then it tried it again, it looks like it’s installing and says “app not installed”

Edit: uninstalled the existing app and then it worked. Would be really nice to have a settings export/import option so you don’t have to add your accounts and redo all your settings every time.

That’s a good idea, could you make it into an issue on GitHub? Thanks!
