    First I’m not from the USA, so… She attempted to vote when wasn’t sure if she could, didn’t read terms and conditions (affidavit) The checks that were in place to make sure it didn’t happen worked, no vote cast Attempted to vote when not allowed = jail Wtf USA that’s one of the most stupid things I’ve ever heard

    I personally belive that most legal punishments serve the purpose of preventing further crimes to be committed by the people already known to commit crimes, unless the crime is with victim, which in this case it isn’t. So by this principle it is entirely nonsensical to persecute someone, since the crime to be prevented doesn’t require them to be locked away.
