This is a series I enjoy reading (Hellboy by Mike Mignola) although I read more Marvel and DC before I got tired of both and switched to indie comics like Dark Horse:

I like reading Mike Mignola because his stories are written so well in my opinion and his art style and collaborations with other artists and writers are really nice, probably because I switched from the Big Two (Marvel and DC) to indie comics from Dark Horse and maybe other companies too (Image Comics?).

I had read Spawn by Todd Macfarlane, but put it down because the drama was too much for me and I lost interest in reading it so much.

I personally think Dark Horse is a good publishing company too in my opinion: they publish all kinds of media around the clock.

What are your favorite comics you like to read?

I love comics, and manga, but they’re hard for me to read due to the cost. Digital comic bundles are great but then I run afoul of my issue with reading PDFs (it’s really hard for me to read digital comics/books like borderline impossible for me).

Mostly I was reading Marvel with a little DC. Tried to stick to offbrand stuff in those lines instead of the X-Men, Avengers, or Batman etc.

Never heard of that. Is it a reader? My issue is that the text and such is just tiny on PDFs. I had the same issue reading e-books for school. It’s just easier and more accessible for me to read the physical medium. But the cost of it keeps me out of reading them. Do have a bunch of PDF comics from Humble Bundle I need to try to read xD

Hoopla lets you read from your local library if they support it. I use it to read all my comics.

Marvel and DC have comics there too, but I currently prefer indie comics like Hellboy.
