One thing that bothers me about the Dune: Prophecy is that’s is based on work by Brian Herbert.

As big fan of the Dune series, I was really excited when I found out there were more books written by by Herbert’s son. But after reading one of them, I swore off on anything by Brain Herbert.

It was a competent novel, but the writing style and overall plot progression was bland and uninspired in comparison to the real Dune novels.

So over-hyped melo-drama that constantly escalates and has no chance of fulfilling a satisfying conclusion?

Except Game of Thrones was hotly anticipated and with ‘The Dune Show’, people are responding “What? Now? Huh.”

I’m glad to hear that this is good. Something about the footage looked off to me so I wasn’t sure how good it’d be.
