Til next year when things cool down. These a holes love to pull a fast one. The money seems a little greener if they fool you into thinking you’re not getting fucked.

Copying my comment from another thread:

Okay, no. Anthem were looking to implement this in Connecticut, New York and Missouri, with Colorado and other states being brought into this policy later on.

Anthem has only backed off this policy in Connecticut. The other states are still currently on the table.

I guess the only way to enact real change in this country is to murder a billionaire…

I’m hoping for much more real change in this country, and I support anyone with enough heroism to murder a CEO.

It feels like the mods have given up on trying to keep the bloodlust for CEOs at bay. Every other thread is just littered with appreciation for the gunman. I’m quite ok with that.

Can we talk freely now? The causes of our problems have address. They can only promote so many executives before they wise up.

        Freely? No, not completely.

But I will say how much I admire America’s founding fathers. They recognized their chains, killed their oligarchs, and they didn’t stop killing until they were truly free. “Live free or die”, truly inspirational.

In a board meeting, they huddle together joking and jostling. “Haha, what are those passed out pieces of shit gonna do, shoot us?” The roar of laughter gradually subsides as a soft set of chirps make their way around the table, and everyone checks their phones. Most notifications read to the effect of “have you seen this??” with a link to an article.

The mood in the room grows colder and more pragmatic as they begin weighing their safety against their wages.

How does that math work out when their wages are worth about as much as 1000 average human lives?

This is a HORRIBLE Decision that will Save THOUSANDS of Lives! WHY did that Poor CEO have to be Assassinated? If only He survived and we got to have Insurance Companies tell us we can’t have Anesthesia for our Surgeries!

Here is the little trick that insurance companies play with anesthesia. You go to a hospital that is in your plan, but every person that sees you in the hospital is not on the same plan. When you go in for surgery the anesthesiologist is not on your plan so you get to pay the full price not even the limited coverage. It is not like you get to ask while your going under am I covered? What a racket these shit stains have.

That’s referred to as "surprise billing’ and it was made illegal in 2022. I have no idea how bulletproof the law is though.

    Weird timing.

But come out to the street here though, we’ll talk it over some more…
