As a protester who fully supports this - for people thinking of doing similar acts, make sure your organization can back and support you.
Arrests for these things can bar you from engaging in future protests, affect your education, ability to travel and your career. Ensure you have a plan for when you get arrested.
I have more than a few friends who’ve had their lives derailed. Remember - never talk to the police, not even a word. Demand a lawyer, no matter what.
That will… make them use solvents to clean it, adding unnecessary pollution on top of the paint itself. For exactly zero positive effects. Not even a message, just random paint here and there.
“Don’t protest like that”.
At least they made a statement and got people talking.

I agree with what you said. I feel the same about burning Teslas. Yes, fuck Elon and I hope he… you know. But all these fires, especially batteries and charging stations… isn’t the environment already fucked enough?

The actions taken against teslas are effective because the people who are the intended recipients of the message are actually understanding what is being said to them.

At least make sure you don’t pour super glue on it, because this will seriously fuck up the paint. That would be such a dick move. Really, don’t do that. Scratches could be polished out or easily sprayed over.

She clearly states there’s a climate disaster, and that we need to “put climate on the ballot” in the upcoming election. Considering she only had ten seconds until she was taken into custody, she did pretty well.
Given your concern about our environment, you’ll be happy to know that Extension Rebellion typically uses non-toxic and environmentally friendly dyes and paints for their protests. I’m guessing this protestor did as well.
