If you want to see what a privacy conscious country can do just look at Germany, there’s more blur than houses on google maps in Germany. They actually stopped doing street view completely a couple years ago after they got so much push back. Unfortunately, they started again though hoping people will give in.
That’s awesome. Well done Deutschland.
Tomorrows job is to go to the Google page and be as good as Germany.
Bonus tip: If you live in an HOA, and you convince the HOA leadership to get on board, Google will blur the entire neighborhood.
When you ask to blur they get amazing data on your location to pair with your browser fingerprint.
I might prefer to just block the data mining vehicle used to record my house.
never bothered me. got my car to show up on both sides of the street one time.
