Interesting! But, I wonder if people will end up caring about the quality levels between Basic and Legendary? Already, it’s tempting to just jump directly from yellow belt to blue belt, and I have never ever used Productivity-2 modules. Just 1 for a bit, then 3.
It depends on the playthrough but sometimes I stick with red belts for a long time since blue belts cost so much more iron.
Are there going to be higher quality science? Or will this be mostly for the production mall?
I’ve seen a few people say they like the idea but the names for the quality levels need work. I agree, but I’d also add that different classes of things should have different quality names.
For the top-level, for example, it makes sense to have a Legendary Rocket Launcher but not a Legendary Assembler. Maybe assemblers, roboports, refineries, etc… could have a top-level name of Masterwork or Prime or similar.
