If you want to read it for yourself:
Article 4 All ethnic groups of the People’s Republic of China are equal. The state shall protect the lawful rights and interests of all ethnic minorities and uphold and promote relations of equality, unity, mutual assistance and harmony among all ethnic groups. Discrimination against and oppression of any ethnic group are prohibited; any act that undermines the unity of ethnic groups or creates divisions among them is prohibited.
The state shall, in light of the characteristics and needs of all ethnic minorities, assist all ethnic minority areas inaccelerating their economic and cultural development.
All areas inhabited by ethnic minorities shall practice regional autonomy, establish autonomous organs, and exercise the power to self-govern. All ethnic autonomous areas are inseparable parts of the People’s Republic of China.
All ethnic groups shall have the freedom to use and develop their own spoken and written languages and to preserve or reform their own traditions and customs.
“Constitution means it doesn’t happen” and “Constitution is worthless, it’s all about enforcement” (true but if that’s all they went by they’d have to face the fact that China is terribly racist) simultaneously. Great doublethink on their part.
I guess the no judge has ever committed a crime in the great country of the United States of America I mean Article 6 says they won’t.
Well, China’s constitution opposes systemic oppression of minorities; things such as saying on Chinese social media that black people should be deported or that a relationship with one is impure are just prejudice, and since tankies repeat over and over that prejudice is not racism, they’re unironically consistent on this one.
Because tankies seem to misunderstand “race + power = racism” was about structural racism not a forgiveness of individual racism in non-white people.
“accelerating cultural development” is definitely one way to word cultural genocide
Is 4 out of 55 Chinese ethnic groups a good percentage?
Nevermind that it’s ink on paper. What the ink on paper says still sounds like a threat.
