Of course, the exact nature of the title here is unclear, although some are speculating the game may be upcoming PS5 exclusive Rise of the Ronin. It’s believed the Team Ninja title will release in early 2024, and so it’s feasible playtests would be taking place right around now if that’s the case. Of course, it’s not yet known whether this outing will have Soulsborne elements, and so it’s also possible the market research being conducted here could relate to another title entirely.

The only non fromsoft soulslike game I have ever gotten excited at the mention for was the The Last Ronin one in the TMNT universe some publisher supposedly is making.
An adult setting tmnt with souls like bosses and the option to make your own builds based on the various weapons of the different turtles just sounds amazing… Esp the big mutnant monster options etc etc

I’ll pay an absurd amount for bloodborne that runs above 30fps, and every time Sony is brought up in the context for souls games it’s all I can think of.
