Columbus, Ohio is the largest city in the nation without any rail based transit, but it may finally be on the verge of ending that sad distinction. Major new investments like the Bipartisan Infrastructure Act and the city’s LinkUS plan, promise to improve transit in the city and better connecting it with the rest of the nation. But the details of how these opportunities are leveraged really matter and Columbus has a sad track record of squandering opportunities in the past. Our advocacy is critical.
