Why are the Jets giving Rodgers complete control of their franchise? Great QB but there is a strong likelihood that he is washed. His last season and GB wasnt any good and he cant stay healthy anymore. 2-3 years ago, fine, give Rodgers whatever he wants. But now?
It’s going to be difficult to get out from under his contract until after the 2024 season. Teams are going to have to offer a ransom prior to that.
they’ll draft a QB in the top 5 then rush him in because they think Adams will be enough of a buffer for a rookie. Rookie will suck. Adams will be pissed. Offload trade him for pennies. Fire head coach in 2025. Repeat.
I’m actually at the point I wish they wouldn’t be totally incompetent for once because this rivalry has been way too one sided for so long that it’s lost it’s intensity.
