No they don’t. They did last year, when Dak led the league in interceptions. The talk about Dak isn’t nearly as loud as last year.
“The Media” (as much as I hate that phrase) just wants to condense everything down to talking points that are simultaneously hyper-specific and as vague as humanly possible. Including this by RG3.
They do talk about his INTs…but then you ask yourself, which QB would you rather have on your team?
Gimme Dak 100%
RG3 annoying af, king of strawmanning for weird ass agendas
I live for roasts after every mnf game
Nobody is talking about Dak’s interceptions because he isn’t throwing many interceptions. People talked about Dak’s interceptions when he had the most interceptions in the league despite missing nearly a good chunk of the season. People are now absolutely talking about Allen’s interceptions and have been quite literally since Week 1. RG3 is a blowhard man lol.
1/2 of this sub legitimately believes it’s a race issue, absolutely baffling.
There’s a segment of every sports sub that acts that way. Look at the MVP talk in the NBA last year.
Josh Allen throws interceptions?!? Why hasn’t the media alerted me?
“Hello,
This is an industry alert. Did you know Josh Allen throws a lot of interceptions?
Thank you,
This has been an industry alert”
Subscribe Josh Allen interception alerts
Why hasn’t the industry alerted me
The alert was intercepted
Seriously I don’t remember a single game where the announcers didn’t mention his turnovers and have a graphic ready to show us. It’s every single week
Okay but despite them having very similar offensive production (not arm talent, production) with said interceptions, one guy got hated on and the other guy was a top 5 qb. Now dak doesn’t even have the ints nearly as much anymore but dude still gets hated on
That stat line from yesterdays MNF was stunning…93 turnovers since ‘18. That’s insane. Makes me think Jamies Winston gets a bad rep
Shuuuuuttttt uppppppp duuuuuude
If they traded teams they would!
Today RGIII learned what “America’s Team” means
I may be mistaken, but it seems like all we talk about is how Josh Allen turns the ball over.
Josh Allen reached the AFCCG in 2020, and in 2021 he put his team ahead of the chiefs with 13 seconds left. He has 19TDs/4int in 8 playoff games and a 100 qb rating, and that’s with his first playoff game having 0 TDs and a 70 rating.
He is the 2nd best QB in the playoffs currently playing, and no one really pays attention to that, or makes fun of “Mr January” cause his defense couldn’t stop the chiefs/bengals.
I think this whole Interception talk is absolutely asinine anyways. I’d rather have my QB taking more chances and scoring more points, even if that means he has 5-6 more Int over the season than average. They’ll probably give MVP to some guy with 10 less TD’s than the leader this year cause he only throws 4-5 interceptions like they did to Brady a couple years ago.
Interceptions are like completion %. It’s not really an issue unless you go out of a certain range. Any completion percentage around 65% or better is fine and someone having 75% doesn’t mean they’re better. Same with INTs, anything under 20 seems fine to me as long as they guy is putting up points. Having an insanely low amount of interceptions doesn’t tell me anything besides the QB probably plays way too cautious.
Yeah it’s such a stupid conversation. Why are we acting like he lost these games for the bills half the time he’s the only reason they r in them lol
Josh Allen has had more success in the post season in less time too. That got him a bit of a pass imo.
Josh Allen is who we thought he was when he was drafted. A gun slinging inaccurate athlete.
I feel like people have been talking about JA turnovers way more than dak all season.
Allen also plays for the smallest, least profitable organization and dak plays for one that’s its own freaking brand. Obviously dak will be under more of a microscope. RG3 just stirring the pot here.
Josh Allen is an oversized Brett Farve. He is going to play hero ball for 60 minutes every week. The Bills will have to live and die with it.
