Could you share new TestFlight link ?
I’ve just installed your app on my iPhone and I responded to you in Matrix (Chris Remington). If you don’t mind, I’d prefer to leave any feedback I have for you here in this community.
So far, this is the best looking iOS app for Lemmy that I’ve experienced (I’ve tried them all).
Thus, a truly fantastic start! I can’t wait to see your app grow.
Thank you for the encouraging words! Of course, you can leave feedback here, I will be checking.
My motivation for Mlem was that the other apps were not user-friendly enough. So I hope that I will not disappoint by keeping the app nice-looking and usable!
Oh, and one more thing… Can I design you a new icon that’s not going to be confused with Mickey Mouse?
Sure, go for it
Can I create a new post in this community to field ideas for a new icon/logo for the app? I have some thoughts that I’d like to get down on paper and bounce them off of you and the community.
You should create a post in this community, I think that would be a good idea. That way, everyone can participate :)
Ok awesome! Will do!
I’m looking forward to seeing your ideas :) I will also post them on my Mastodon so you get more outreach
So I’ve been using it today a bit… here are my observations:
- Upvoting works
- Downvoting doesn’t work
- Commenting seems to work now
- Is there no way to view/search/join communities yet?
Thanks for the effort. After opening the app, I only get „You have no accounts added“. The „+“ button in the top right has disappeared and I can’t add an account. Yesterday’s version still had that button.
Thank you for the report, I fixed it in today’s hotfix, which is out now. Be sure to update the app!
Thanks! The button is back. Unfortunately, I cannot login on lemmy.ml neither on iPhone nor iPad. The spinner keeps on spinning and then tells me that the connection could not be made. I use a password manager and just tried logging in in the browser again, so I would rule out any typos.
@Onse @mlemapp lemmy.ml occasionally goes down. I suppose it has something to do with the API I’m currently using, which is getting deprecated soon. I’ll have to switch to using the other API, which might fix these problems, but it’ll take a lot of work to implement it.
Until then, the only thing I can recommend is to give it a few minutes when this happens. When the new api is implemented, I’ll let everyone know on Mastodon / the Matrix room.
Your recent release fixed my problem. Seems like my password was too complex. Thank you!
@Onse No problem 😉 I’m happy it works now
