Is there a pedal like the MXR Carbon Copy Deluxe, but full stereo (inputs too) and expression control over regen (to nosedive in and out of oscillation). I know there’s the rubberneck with the instant oscillation footswitch. There’s the Wampler Metaverse which is stereo in/out and can control feedback/regen via expression but apparently it doesn’t actually stereo pan the repeats and apparently in spite of being all digital does not support firmware updates. There’s the EHX Grand Canyon which doesn’t do stereo in. Recommendations?

What about a memory man with hazarai? Not sure if it’s got the footswitch for modulation but it seems to be thought of very highly and it’s stereo.

Ooh, need to look at some reviews. There’s no jack for an expression pedal, so looks like you need to twiddle the knobs to oscillate.

Aw man! I know people really love that one though… maybe look at strymon then. Pretty sure they can do just about everything delay wise though I’ve never played one. Happy hunting.

Indeed. Man, I have a lot of pedals to review. At least the DD-8, RE-2, RE-202. I prefer knobs over menus but the DD-200, DD-500 look worth checking out. The RE-2 looks like you can long-press the pedal to oscillate, so that’s

Man, I really have to stop hitting Reply when I mean to get out of preview mode!

Thanks for pointing me at Boss! I don’t know why I just completely blanked out on them when thinking about this. The RE-202 is looking like a real contender so far! I’m coming from a Danelectro Dan-echo, so keeping tone control would be nice is a surprise bonus. And having both reverb and modulation for the repeats is smooth.

I finally found a manual for Source Audio Collider which confirms it does trails, so that’s pretty high on my list now too. Over the RE-202 I like all the extra modes it has, but I’d have a lot more to learn to not feel like I paid for stuff I’m not using.

Hah. I know I have done that.

I get it. There are SOO many boutique pedal makers now with insane circuitry is it easy to overlook the more established companies. Chase Bliss has crazy unique pedals that will make crazy noise you never even heard before.

For sure, you can have something for a long time and not know how to use every feature it has.

I don’t have a ton of experience with guitar pedals, but have you looked at the Empress ZOIA? The ZOIA has stereo inputs/outputs, supports an expression pedal and, based on my experience building patches for it, it shouldn’t be very hard to do what you want.
