    I’m always a little annoyed when I see “saving the planet” in article titles. The planet itself is fine, it doesn’t care whether there are humans on it or not. However, what’s threatened is life on the planet, including humanity.

      Sure but like people generally don’t get emotionally attached to rocks. So when people talk about the planet more often than not they mean nature in a form reconnizably comparable to how we see it today
