The wife has started to make these amigurumi creatures. Here’s her latest two.
She uses worsted weight wool (she tells me) which generally results in bigger creatures.

Who knew that there was an entire sub-branch of crochet that’s taken off making small toys?
Clearly, I missed out while our kids were young.
I still have my stash of yarn though (like any crafter). Perhaps our teens aren’t too old to appreciate a handmade gift?
