I get what you’re saying, but there’s a whole right wing media industry that’s motivated to use any argument they can find to keep their policies flowing. If it wasn’t social censure on speech, it’s be something else. They’re not above making shit up if they have to. We shouldn’t avoid good ideas just because the right might twist them against us.
