Wonder if that would’ve made any of the laborers happy, knowing that people would be using the stones they laid today. Also wonder if they scratched their names on the underside of any of those rocks and we just need to look. I definitely would’ve done that

Stone might’ve been a bit more trouble to do that with, but Romans definitely did that with bricks!
