but that is something that every webpage and app should avoid doing. i dont think tiktok is special here. i mean, sure one might argue the chinese government probably has a hand in this, but that would be speculation. and also, the us government is banning apps it doesnt like, so in my opinion: yeah, everyone except (most of) the users are assholes here
In Germany it’s turning the kids fascist, our nazi party is apparantly big on there and the rest of the politicians are sleeping in the “new” internet thing as usual.
