    Calzones are prior art. Also from the article:

    A patent examiner, at one point, told his attorney that “it sort of infringes on an apple turnover or a ravioli,” Mongiello said.

    While I don’t think this is something that should be able to have a patent, Pizza Hut was a jerk about it by turning him down and then releasing the thing he offered to partner with them on.

    if your pizza dough is not shit, then you can enjoy it by dipping it into a bit of olive oil and/or balsamico instead of doing stupid stuff like shoving cheese into it
