Honestly, it hasn’t been truly great since before Nixon. Took a huge nosedive after Reagan. Since 2016 it has been a flaming dumpster fire. The GOP’s whole platform now is just TRUMP, they don’t even have issues and responses listed on their website anymore, just a section about “Election Integrity”.
Reagan was a huge nosedive. He was a complete sack of shit pretending to be wholesome because he was an actor.
