I was in Oklahoma recently and did notice that there were an alarming number of Chinese nationals working in the cannabis industry. And they work for very cheap.
Should see the flooring industry. It’s immigrants all the way down (not all of them illegal) and they pay dirt cheap. But chsrge customers out the ass for install. The few english speakeing workers I talked to that been doing this since the 80s say prices for installers haven’t changed since the 90s so thsy stop doing carpet and now only immigrants do that.
When Trump stopped the asylum seekers from staying in the country while there case was heard (the apply on your side policy) and Biden kept the policy, all of the cheep construction workers disappeared. Why houses cost so much these days.
Not in my state. They hire illegal immigrants to do all the work and pay shit.

There is also all the cold states where half the employees get laid off for 3-4 months.
