A threat researcher has disclosed a new arbitrary command injection and hardcoded backdoor flaw in multiple end-of-life D-Link Network Attached Storage (NAS) device models.

    I had a D-Link before the company got bought out, they were pretty cool back then was able to run it for years.

    EDIT: I must be misremembering, apparently D-Link has been in this sort of controversy since 2013 at least.
