If I try to log into https://lemmy.ml/c/todayilearned with @ancientweasel@social.fossware.space it doesn’t work.

If I search for !todayilearned@lemmy.ml from social.fossware.space it doesn’t show up.

If I browse to lemmy.ml from federated instances on this lemmy there is no federated login that transits to a session on lemmy.ml .

What and I missing? What is a feasible way to have a useful user experience? It seams like this stuff is less than half baked. Please assist.

Trying to log into lemmy.ml with fossware.space credentials is like trying to log into Google with AOL credentials.

    Use https://social.fossware.space/c/todayIlearned@lemmy.ml

You use links on your server to pull the data from the other servers

Yep it works. How come this never came up in my hours for searching around?

If we want the fediverse to be a thing we need it to be accessible. I have a Masters Degree in Information Technology and I couldn’t help myself to do simple things.
