Compared to current day Isreal, Iran is looking pretty sane. Even though, they’re still a bunch of assholes supplying Russia the drones that are killing Ukrainians in that genocide.

See the words “dated, now offensive.” Meaning it was a bigoted word against people with intellectual disabilities.
Of course, they could be calling them Asian as a way of suggesting they were stupid and inferior, which would… no, that would still be bigoted.
