    Depends:
    “Hello” or “Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening” - express deference or with people I don’t know
    “Hi” - more casual, for coworkers or acquaintances
    “Hey”, “Yo”, or “'Sup” - with close confidants
    “Greetings” (with an over-pronounced T, I’m American) - flying the weird flag
