It should also improve start up times and overall performance, especially on low-memory devices. There is a host of accessibility features too.

Pretty sure my 2017 shield still runs 7 or 9 I can’t remember.

  My 2019 model runs Shield Experience 9, which according to Nvidia is Android 11

    That’s probably what it is then. I haven’t really kept track. I run FLauncher so I don’t have to look at the awful home screen that they ruined.
