I disagree regarding the reason for the downvotes.
I believe it to be the statement, that people only play for memes and not because it’s fun. I find it to be fun and the people I play with feel similar. So I assume those 25(?) people felt the same and didn’t like the commenter assuming their motivation to be memes. I know I don’t, but I didn’t downvote.
Probably both. Same as the only other person being downvoted saying people bought what their favorite streamer told them to. Because apparently no one can just… enjoy the game.
I do admit I haven’t played it. I know what’s enjoyable after having a hole burnt in my wallet from meme hype and lies being pumped on the internet.
Meme trains are real and I’m VERY skeptical of any game that gains popularity overnight. This game hasn’t proven me wrong either. I’d play it for max $15. It’s maybe 6 hours of fun in my eyes.
And I would do nothing to prevent someone from having fun. I’m glad people enjoy it.
