Operation: Enduring Peace - Phase 2 (Final)

After much sacrifice, our Heroic Helldivers have successfully cleared the way to the Terminid Supercolony upon Meridia.

Weaponized payloads of Dark Fluid from the research facility upon Moradesh have been deployed across the Super Destroyer Fleet. But now remains the toughest task of them all: Landfall upon Meridia.

The Helldivers will deploy to the surface of Meridia to deploy partial payloads of Dark Fluid across the planet. Once a critical mass is reached, the Dark Fluid will accrete into a superdense mass, triggering total planetary implosion.

So it begins, Helldivers, the great battle of our time.

Make us proud. Destroy it all.

Yeah, defending the drills is tough. Not all helldivers will make it, but we will achieve victory through countless divers.

I mean the drills are fine, it’s the damn countless shriekers that seem to be a nightmare - at least for the randos I ran a few with

After finding out about those bringing a turret helped a lot, but I had a lot more trouble with heavies popping out of the holes directly under the drills that destroyed them before we could react. That was random though, so was able to complete a few and fail a few depending on whether tunnels spit out heavies.

Seems like very big heavies are a huge pain on higher difficulties - I wonder if they plan to add a minimum distance for spawns away from the drill… a bile spawning on the drill seems a bit unfun.
