I’m a little anxious putting one on my car

It’s not a good idea to put any sort of identity on your car since people don’t generally think nice things about the drivers they see on the road with them. One of my friends refuses to put a Jesus fish bumper sticker in case she cuts someone off or something and they get mad at God.

I had one on the back of my car that was a T-Rex biting a chunk out of the ichthys symbol. Lasted a lot longer than I thought it would living in the Bible Belt before someone ripped it off. People will definitely take your car decorations personally.

Yes, let me bike to the grocer, and somehow carry home 100lbs+ of food and supplies on my fucking HEAD? What are you even on

Not trying to be a dick; I love my bike.

But have you considered the logistics of transporting two 40-pound boxes of cat litter on a bicycle? Even one, absolutely no chance I’m dealing with that.

Also, both my partner and I absolutely hate grocery shopping. Ignoring the litter, I would absolutely not consider going more frequently.

Oh, I wasn’t trying to be a dick either! I’m with you on hating grocery shopping haha

I try to do as much perishable stuff at the farmers market (which is fortunately walking distance) and then do non-perishable as infrequently and in-bulk as possible by car

Makes sense! Usually we only go to the store when we need litter, which is mad heavy. Then we’ll get sole packs of cat food (our spoiled cats eat different nice stuff.)

By that point, even both of us on bikes… it just doesn’t work. Plus we have two cars we love, we just don’t drive then much cuz we’re hermits. Bikes are for fun, cars are for obtain item!

Putting any sticker on your car is a great way to give free information out to people about yourself. Don’t give out free information to people about yourself.

You could say the same thing for literally just existing. Better kill yourself or someone might find something out about you!

I hope it’s unnecessary for me to say I’m simply making a point and not ernestly telling you to kys.

My point was more about blatantly advertising more personal details that somebody wouldn’t learn just by seeing the color of your tshirt.

I am into OSINT so maybe my view here is a little more paranoid or biased.

Car stickers are never a good idea, ever. Not only do they look ridiculous, they give random strangers access to important information about you and your life situation. Do not volunteer personal Information.

And then there is the uniquely stupid prospect of a piracy car sticker. What in the fuck gave you the idea that is somehow a good addition to your car? The activity ranges from unsavory to straight up illegal depending on where you live, why would anyone advertise they are doing that irl?

Maybe if it’s just a jolly roger with “*ARRR” under it. Those in the know will understand, for others it’s just a silly pop culture reference. And has plausible deniability (“What? I just really like Pirates of the Caribbean and Sea of Thieves!”).

Yeah this is my thought as well. I see nothing wrong with mostly surface level info for bumper stickers. However, I wouldn’t advertise doing anything against the law or hell, even less popular stuff then most. It unfortunately can single you out for potential vehicle damage or worse.

It´s just as dumb as any sort of stickers that convey your personal opinion.

Most people won´t care, very few will appreciate it but if there´s only one person that really really hates it, you might end up with a keyed car.

Do it. Put the not-technically-piracy apps on your car. Qbittorrent, sonarr, radarr, jellyfin, etc.
