    The ethical thing to do is to feed a dog (an omnivore) the flesh of pigs(omnivores), who have been fed plants only. How do you not understand this.

    Not sure if that’s part of the joke, but dogs are not obligate carnivores. Dogs do not need meat in their diet, although it’s easier to meet their nutritional requirements with it. Cats, OTOH, are obligate carnivores, and a vegan diet will kill them.
