All this media hyper-fixation and constant public discourse on the “apparent” evil of the “Cee Cee Pee Pee” is because China has geared up to be the US’s main geopolitical and economic adversary in what is looking to be a period of increased global instability. So any time anyone brings up anything about how bad China is it comes with the clear implication of: “And this is why the morally upright Liberal Democracy of the US needs to remain a global hegemony!”
So pointing out that even if this crap about China is true the US doesn’t have a fucking leg to stand on in terms of morality is completely valid, because why is any American concerning themselves with the splinter in the eye of a country they have no goddamn influence over when their own nation has a fucking redwood tree jutting out of their eye socket.
Two things can be true at once, but so far nobody has been able to cite any evidence besides “vibes” that the execution van thing is true. So why are you so concerned with this thing maybe happening in another country and not all the shit defiantly happening in your own?
