    I can’t say I’m surprised. Anyone else remember the deafening silence from cable news outlets like MSNBC about Net Neutrality? Who could’ve guessed that letting Comcast buy NBC/Universal would lead to really fucking awful outcomes. 🙄

      Out of all of the horribly damaging things that happened when W Bush was president, weakening of the media ownership rules was the most damaging. It’s responsible for our current political climate and decline into fascism (if that comes to be).

    If news anchors were threatened with being replaced with AI vtubers I wonder how happy they would be then to do whatever the teleprompter tells them to do.
