Lol I dunno anything else that looks like sticky pinto beans, so probably yeah
Ugh, natto is one of my least favorite foods. I still make it for my wife because she loves it but it stinks up everything when it is fermenting…
I did not expect to like it, but really do. My only complaint is I find it difficult to eat without getting the stringies everywhere.
Ugh… I hate the stringies. Its the only food I’ve found for which I dislike the taste, texture, smell, AND appearance. I wish I could like it because I can’t even kiss my wife after she’s eaten it.
You can natto even kiss your wife?
Stooooooppppppp
Do you mix it with soy sauce or something because I remember an nhk world video saying some Japanese people do that

Some people do. Some add hot mustard. I can’t handle it in any form so far.
Fuck yeah natto is the best
Steve don’t eat it did a fucking hilarious write up of his experience with natto
Lol I ordered it once at a restaurant and it wasn’t stinky, but it just tasted like not well cooked beans to me
I grew up eating it. If that wasn’t the case I’d probably react just like Steve
Brace soul, natto is an “acquired taste” at best. Looks like a lovely meal all the same. Well done chef! 😁
Best food I’ve ever had was in Japan. Can’t wait to go back.
Oooh looks amazing! I want to visit Japan so badly!

That looks like a nice meal any time of day. Hope the rest of your weekend is great!
+1 for natto!!
No miso soup?!
Looks yummy 😋
Your breakfasts are so healthy compared to the American breakfast. The fish looks delicious!
I love making salmon for dinner, then saving a little for breakfast later in the week!

土曜日!
Yeahh, morning shake is the best.
Took me about a week to get used to this kind of breakfast, from then on it’s been my preferred choice, on the rare occasion I actually eat breakfast these days (AKA when it’s free).
Is the dish on the bottom left some kind of beans in milk?
