Sounds ominous.
Where to now?
Edit: The claim is that they’re offline for maintenance - not sure how credible the source is though or why it was worded to intimate otherwise.

the onion link for tgx seems to be working ok
Hmm just tried it & it doesn’t load either. The last official onion link I found published on https://proxygalaxy.me (via archive.org) was in May 2024 at http://galaxy3yrfbwlwo72q3v2wlyjinqr2vejgpkxb22ll5pcpuaxlnqjiid.onion but it doesn’t seem to load for me in Tor Browser.
Onion link?
This one:
http://galaxy3yrfbwlwo72q3v2wlyjinqr2vejgpkxb22ll5pcpuaxlnqjiid.onion
It is down for me though.
the bad part is that torrent galaxy is a source of torrents for other torrent sites.if it goes down other torrent sites have less torrents but sometimes the same torrents have other sources.
Get your self a index manager. https://prowlarr.com/
this does the same thing https://github.com/Jackett/Jackett
this would only work if torrents get uploaded to more then one site if torrents have torrentgalaxy as there only source this will not do much unless they start uploading to other sites.
The index manager appears to be for Windows only (I’m on a Mac). What is the benefit of that for torrenters anyway? A google search seems to throw up all different kinds of index managers.
There’s a Mac download option right there on the home page.
Can you explain what it does, or why one would want one?
Dough!
Working here https://torrentgalaxy.one/
I don’t know what that is, but it’s not torrent galaxy - same interface but over a week old
Look at latest, some posted minutes ago https://torrentgalaxy.one/top-ten-post/
Yes, it’s a torrent site. Yes, it’s called Torrent Galaxy.
Is it related to the real Torrent Galaxy? Probably not.
This is unfortunate. More replacements will pop up though no matter what though so all is not lost :)
the site is back online
i think that this has something to do with couldflare. because recently they seem to be using different DDoS mitigation .
What are some other good alternatives in the meantime? like 1337x etc
